POLICE were called out after a dead deer was found in the road.
Officers attended the A58 Prescot bypass last Friday evening, January 30, near to Knowsley Safari Park.
Police said they received the report of a dead deer in the road that was “causing a danger to motorists”.
The deer was removed by officers.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: “We can confirm we received a report of a dead deer in the road on the A58 at around 5.40pm on Friday, January 30 and that it was causing a danger to motorists.
“It was removed shortly afterwards.”
