A man who had been missing for more than a month has been identified as the body recovered from the Detroit River near Dingell Park in Ecorse.

Sources tell MDN the recovered body is 25-year-old Tyler Bojanowski, who was reported missing out of Wyandotte.

His body was recovered in Ecorse along the river near Dingell Park. Bojanowski was last seen at a hotel in Allen Park.

Investigators say his passport was found near the park, in the area where his body was recovered.

Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding his death.

The investigation remains ongoing.
