Terrifying security footage has captured the split-second moment a New Jersey mother’s hero instincts kicked in, saving her young children from a devastating collision.
The video shows Patrice Pisani walking out of a daycare with her two young sons when an out-of-control SUV, driven by a 68-year-old woman, veers off the road and barrels directly toward them.
The Moment of Impact In a display of incredible situational awareness, Pisani spots the vehicle and manages to snatch one of her sons out of the way just seconds before the SUV slams into a nearby pole. The vehicle then strikes Pisani and her older son from behind.
The Aftermath Despite the violence of the crash, the family experienced what many are calling a miracle:
- The Children: The younger boy escaped with minor burns on his leg, while the older son survived the direct impact.
- The Mother: Patrice Pisani sustained neck and back injuries but is expected to recover.
Justice Served The driver, identified as Angela Arrigo, was arrested at the scene. She has been charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and endangering the welfare of a child.
